Russian modders at iphone.ru have spent a lot of time with a Dremel, plexiglass, a soldering iron, and an led - and here is the "fruit" of their labor.
An awesome mod if I must say so myself, although I would prefer the option of turning it off. You know it would annoy everyone when you light up the whole room just to answer the phone or surf the web.
