PS3 Touchpad

Sony has announced the release of their Wireless Keypad for the PS3. Expect to see these beauties around the holidays.

If you're familiar with the 360's keypad - this is pretty much the same thing, BUT better :)

Unlike the 360's chat pad - these will have their own bluetooth connection to your console( instead of sharing the same one) It appears to have a better layout with handy shortcut buttons ( a communication button and a message box button )

The most interesting feature to me is the touch pad button. Once pressed, it allows you to "use the entire surface of the keypad as a touch pad" for controlling the on screen mouse.

The price has yet to be announced.
